Italian Journey 2023
During 2023 we journeyed back to the homeland of our grandparents. In June of 1906 they left behind their home town of Maida, in the region of Calabria. With their twin girls, they boarded the SS Italia in Naples landing in Ellis Island and evenly Philadelphia. Our travels during the 12 day took us from Maida, to the Almalfi Coast, Pompeii and eventually Rome.
