Northern Journey

On the Eastern seaboard of the USA is Route #1, extending from Maine to Key West Fla. While in 2109 I had been to the southernmost point, I had not ventured that far north. So, in 2019 it became Maine and beyond. The Iconic Maine coast to Nova Scotia for a journey of unanticipated joyful contrasts. While In Nova Scotia, my homebase was a welcoming fishing village, Eastern Passage. From here I discovered two pearls: the first Peggy’s Cove. holding a deep personal reference, here I found amazingly welcoming people and a Lighthouse of extraordinary beauty. 70 miles north, on the Bay of Fundy, Burntcoat Head Park, with the highest tidal changes in the world.
