Desert Journey

Across this great country of ours there is a never-ending collection of amazing locations to experience. In the summer of 2022, I had the privilege, to semi-quote Captain Kirk, to go where I never thought I’d ever go… the desert. The journey began in Page, Arizona, and the Upper Antelope Canyons. Located on Navajo tribal lands, are a series of beautiful slot canyons, guided to native American’s. A wonder of nature which must be seen to really appreciate. The balance of the journey focused on the Vermillion cliffs region of the desert southwest. The other world geology of desert beauty and dark sky night beauty made the 4 days of desert camping a worthy investment.
